Welcome to the LACCD e7 Architecture Studio Geoportal site!
We are the GIS Team project involving Los Angeles Community College District, Playa Vista Job Opportunities, DMJM/JGM, and the Proposition A/AA. Most of the work is done by the students of LACCD, who are holding internship positions at the e7 Architecture Studio. GIS project that we're working on will make LACCD architectural information more accessible, accurate, and easily manageable. Although small, the GIS Team members are proficient in many fields of Computer Science that enable it to get the work done in a reasonable time limit.
The goals of the GIS Team are ambitious and forward-looking, and therefore will require time, expertise, and careful planning to implement. A few of them are:
- Implement an accurate CAD standard for LACCD
- Create and efficient mapping solution for all nine campuses
- Act as a communication and instruction medium on GIS efforts
